1、 Introduction to FCC certification

The full name of FCC certification in the United States is Federal Communications Commission, which was established by communication in 1934. It is an independent agency of the U.S. government and directly responsible to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. It involves more than 50 states in the United States, Colombia and the regions of the United States to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property.

3、 FCC certification mode:
On November 2, 2017, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) officially announced that doc & VOC plans to officially change to SDoC in order to simplify the certification process of wireless devices and clarify the use specifications of electronic tags.
From November 2, 2017 to November 2, 2018, this year is the transitional operation period, during which the FCC VOC and DOC certification procedures can be continued or the new FCC SDoC certification procedures can be used. After a one-year transitional period, FCC SDoC certification procedures will formally replace the original FCC VOC and DOC certification methods.
